Last Bahama Pictures for Now

It was a sad looking back as we left Great Harbor Cay.  We truly enjoyed touring the Bahamas and plan to return and see some of the islands we missed.  The Abacos are stilll to be explored and there is quite a bit we'd like to see in the Berrys.  Of course Eluthra, Cat Islnand and even south of the Exumas need to be looked at as well.  Still, going home will be good too.  We've never sailed the east coast of Florida and the Okeechobee Waterway will be new also.  We are both just grateful to have the health and ability to cruise and plan to keep it up.
This is Shark River beach at the southern end of the island.  It's a popular spot for shelling.

Another view of the same beach.  This island has a lot to offer the tourist.

This is St. Filomena marina.  It is owned by the gentleman we met while eating burgers at the beach bar.  It is well thought out and modern.

Cooli Mae's was a wonderful restaurant.  The food was outstanding and the prices were some of the lowest we've come across in the Bahamas.  She and her husband have maintained the building to a high standard and it shows.

This is the narrow cut we had to come through to enter 5 pirates bay and reach the marina.

Bullocks Harbor as seen on our way west.

This facility supplies all the electricity for the island.  If the fuel boat is late, there is no power.
