And Even More Pictures

Rain is coming.  This is a view from the restaurant where we had lunch.

Weird statue.  We see this large figure off in the distance and had to explore further.
I'd love to know the story behind this guy.  He is in the middle of a circular drive of
a very nice house on the water.

Second dingy dock for mooring balls.  I imagine there is no room during high season.

This is on the side of the building.

This is a convenient meeting area.  The main facility closes at 6:45 so potlucks
and other meetings are held here.  We attended a meeting on making way to
the Bahamas earlier in the week.

With all the rain we've had, this hatch cover has come in very handy to
keep things cool and dry.  We have another one over the vberth.

Rare beach since most beaches on the east coast of Florida are made with sand
trucked in from elsewhere.  This is one of the few remaining natural beaches.

Rain coming in.  We were in the dingy and had our jackets on but managed to make it
back to the boat before it hit.  This has been a daily sight for us.  We have generally been
lucky enough to get where we were going on the bike or in the dingy before it rains.

Pat's better side.  David likes to sneak in the picture so it usually means my
back is turned.

Private island-note wind generator to provide power-no line run out there.  We wanted
to get closer but the weather was nearly on us.

Martina.  Can you believe those eyes!!  She may be making
the crossing to Bimini with us with mom and dad in tow.

Manuela, Martina, Manuel.  Ok, now you can see where those beautiful eyes come
from.  This delightful couple is from Italy on maternity leave.  They bought a Prout
catamaran in SC and arrived in the harbor a day or two after us.
