Over to Boot Key and waiting

Crusing can be so rough

Pigeon Key-this small island is at the end of the old bridge.  During the building
of the original railroad and replacement driving road it was used as a staging
ground for men and supplies.

7 mile bridge-old drawbridge with center removed and new 65 foot bridge

Approaching the Atlantic side-Once we cross, we'll be in the next phase of the trip.

Old bridge

We're in the Atlantic Ocean now, one more stop before the Bahamas

Work platform on new bridge-not for the faint of heart

One happy man, his dream is getting closer!

Approach to city marina mooring field in Boot Key Harbor

Our new home for a while
Getting the dingy ready on the foredeck.  Once it's fully inflated we toss it over,
hoping it lands upright.  Of course, that didn't happen.

We are on N1-close to the office but not close enough to get a good wifi signal
